This site sets no cookies at all. It stores one thing in your browser — whether you chose Arabic or English. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.
This page explains how this website uses cookies and local storage.
Version 0.1 — published 13 August 2026.
What a cookie is
A small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on your next visit. It is how a site can remember something about you between pages without asking again.
Most sites use them for measurement and advertising as well. This one sets none at all, and the rest of this page is mostly about what is absent.
The one thing we store
This site stores your language preference in one local-storage entry named ipora_lang, with a value of en or ar. It is saved only when you change the language and remains until you clear your browsing data. It contains no account identifier or profile information.
It is written only when you use the language switch, and it holds nothing but that choice — no identifier, no profile, nothing that says who you are.
It is what stops the site answering you in the wrong language on your next visit, which is not a small thing on a site whose whole argument is that Arabic is first-class.
What we do not set
No analytics of any kind. No tag manager, no advertising pixel, no social plug-in, no session recorder, no A/B testing tool.
No third-party script runs on this site at all, so there is nothing here for anyone else to read.
We would rather have less measurement of our own site than build a profile of the people reading it.
Why there is no consent banner
Because there is nothing to consent to. A cookie that only remembers the language you picked is strictly necessary to give you what you asked for, and asking permission to remember it would be a box with no meaning behind it.
If we ever add something that does need consent, the banner arrives with it — not before, and not as decoration.
Turning it off
You can usually view or clear site data from your browser’s privacy or site settings. Clearing this entry removes the saved language preference, after which the site uses your browser’s language setting.
Clearing it costs you nothing except that the site stops remembering your language and will pick one from your browser’s own settings instead. Nothing else on the site depends on it.
Changes to this policy
If the list of cookies changes, this page changes with it, and the version and date at the top change too.
This page may be updated. The displayed date identifies this version.
